As I started to contemplate going back to work after the birth of my son, I knew that I needed to find a job that offered more flexibility than that of a hotel sales position in which I had held for the previous 9 years.  I knew I wanted to stay in the industry that had given me the opportunity to meet and work with so many fascinating people, businesses and associations…yet I also wanted to find the right balance of being available for my family.  ConferenceDirect has turned out to be the best career decision I have ever made.  I am proud to work for a forward thinking company that strives for honesty, integrity and the highest industry standards.  As a Recruiting Manager, I am reaffirmed on a daily basis when hotel and CVB sales people tell me how much they enjoy working with the professionals on our team.

In addition to the working with my clients to negotiate the best locations and packages for their meetings, I strive to help build our company with the best of the best in our industry.  I enjoy educating people about the benefits of working with ConferenceDirect and assisting them to put a plan in place for a successful transition.  To know that I am helping someone possibly achieve a better quality of life and at the same time embark on a very rewarding career, brings me great satisfaction.  I am very confident that ConferenceDirect offers the best tools, training and technology in our space.  Combined with the support of our extremely experienced team, we have found the recipe for success.

For CD, the future is bright.  As we grow our team with the best industry talent, our Account Executives  continue to find ways to stay current by provide cutting edge support to our clients through a highly experienced team of conference managers,  Housing & Registration division, and Industry Insights customer events.   I’m excited to continue working on our LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter presence knowing that will continue to keep us on the front page of the hospitality industry.

Stacey joined ConferenceDirect in the Fall of 2005 with 9 years experience of meeting management in the hospitality industry. She started her career working for the Marco Island Hilton Beach Resort and held a variety of positions including Food and Beverage Supervisor and Restaurant Manager. Upon moving to Atlanta in 1994, she expanded on her experience as Convention Sales Manager at the Hilton Atlanta Northwest where she planned, managed and executed all corporate and social events. Three years later she transferred to the Atlanta Hilton and Towers as their Senior Catering Manager managing and planning for corporate groups of 100-2000 people. Stacey attended the State University of NY at Oswego graduating with a BS in Business Administration and currently resides in Melbourne, FL.
