As I started to contemplate going back to work after the birth of my son, I knew that I needed to find a job that offered more flexibility than that of a hotel sales position in which I had held for the previous 9 years. I knew I wanted to stay in the industry that had given me the opportunity to meet and work with so many fascinating people, businesses and associations…yet I also wanted to find the right balance of being available for my family. ConferenceDirect has turned out to be the best career decision I have ever made. I am proud to work for a forward thinking company that strives for honesty, integrity and the highest industry standards. As a Recruiting Manager, I am reaffirmed on a daily basis when hotel and CVB sales people tell me how much they enjoy working with the professionals on our team.
In addition to the working with my clients to negotiate the best locations and packages for their meetings, I strive to help build our company with the best of the best in our industry. I enjoy educating people about the benefits of working with ConferenceDirect and assisting them to put a plan in place for a successful transition. To know that I am helping someone possibly achieve a better quality of life and at the same time embark on a very rewarding career, brings me great satisfaction. For CD, the future is bright. As we grow our team with the best industry talent, our Account Executives continue to find ways to stay current by provide cutting edge support to our clients through a highly experienced team of conference managers, Housing & Registration division, and Industry Insights customer events.
